Katia Bourdarel is a French multidisciplinary artist, born in Marseille in 1970, who lives and works between Paris and Dégagnac. A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, she works across oil painting, drawing, installation, sculpture, and video. Drawing on tales, myths, and popular culture, her work explores memory, desire, and identity in images that oscillate between fiction and reality, gentleness and unease.
